In case you didn't catch it in the Parenting as Pulpit series introduction, being a parent is no joke! I believe that sometimes the least we can do for our children is pray blessing and peace over them. It is the most that we can do as well. Cut yourself a whole lot of slack today and simply pray peace and love over those precious little people. If you lack the words to say, use the ones that I wrote in this lullaby blessing.

I also pray that you will allow yourself to embrace your own inner child, humble yourself, and recognize your own need for love and peace. These words are for all of us.
